“It’s our business to offer the best possible product to our guest, whether it’s a ski run or a carbon offset,” said
Auden Schendler, executive director of Sustainability at Aspen Skiing Company. “But all carbon offsets aren’t all equal. We choose to work with the Colorado Carbon Fund because we could see how dollars donated by our guests actually result in new projects that reduce CO2 emissions. We can track these projects, touch them, visit them, and we can show that they wouldn’t have happened without the fund.”

"KeyBank is growing strong in Colorado," said Stuart Pattison, KeyBank's Colorado District President. "As a
result we are providing more resources, capital and jobs to individuals and businesses in our state. As we grow in Colorado, we believe it's also important to support efforts like the Colorado Carbon Fund. KeyBank believes it's critical that we invest in new technologies that will make our state cleaner and create an even stronger economy in Colorado."

"What this means is we are shifting about $50,000 student dollars to support Colorado projects that fight climate change while increasing economic prosperity, assisting local communities and creating service learning opportunities for students. We want to focus our efforts to fight climate change on tangible opportunities in our own backyards and Gov. Ritter's new program gives us that option."

- Hadley Brown, University of Colorado at Boulder student government president

"Our students are already actively engaged in local community climate change reduction efforts - and the Colorado Carbon Fund program will increase these efforts. This is a great example both of the leadership of Gov. Ritter on climate change issues and of our students in answering his call."

- CU-Boulder Chancellor G.P. "Bud" Peterson

"RMH has practiced the principles of sustainable design for over 25 years, so our commitment to climate change reduction is a integral part of our business. Participating in the Colorado Carbon Fund directly supports those principles and helps advance the broad goals of sustainability by creating a funding source for local climate mitigation and clean energy projects. It is vital that we all support broad carbon reduction goals and we applaud the Governor’s Energy Office for organizing this initiative. RMH is proud to support these efforts and looks forward to a building a cleaner future in Colorado."
